The opening of the new Printemps<\/strong> at 1 Wall Street<\/strong> marks the brand’s ambition to continue being a global icon in high fashion. Printemps New York<\/strong> finds its home in a magnificent building constructed 50 years ago, now redesigned inside by architect and designer Laura Gonzalez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paris meets New York<\/strong>, and fashion meets Modern Mythology<\/strong>. A clear example is the Coperni pop-up collection<\/strong>, inspired by the timeless allure of Disney princesses<\/strong> and the strength of its beloved characters. The collection celebrates Disney\u2019s enduring impact on pop culture.

In the concept store, the Red Room<\/strong>, designed in Art Deco<\/strong> style by Hildreth Mei\u00e8re<\/strong>, welcomes visitors with soaring ceilings and red-and-gold mosaic tiles lining the walls and ceiling. Inside, the magical Printemps shoe forest<\/strong> features a 15-foot-high canopy of white cut-metal leaves, evoking delicate lace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the gar\u00e7onni\u00e8re<\/strong>, among pink moir\u00e9 wallpaper, monochrome textures, soft pink drapes, and pastel frescoes, a curated selection of new and vintage menswear is displayed, illuminated by oversized chandeliers resembling cascading feathers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rich in old-world charm, the Printemps apothecary<\/strong> showcases iconic French fragrance houses and bold newcomers aiming to redefine perfume through cutting-edge technologies. Meanwhile, in the salle de bain<\/strong>, set in a backdrop of luxurious marble, visitors can explore makeup, discover innovative techniques, and experience exclusive treatments with the best\u2014mainly French\u2014beauty brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights also include a sculptural bar<\/strong> by Brooklyn artist William Coggin<\/strong> and a playroom<\/strong>\u2014a multicolored marble space dedicated to playful fashion, offering themed apparel and sneakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
