{"id":819,"date":"2025-01-31T15:14:00","date_gmt":"2025-01-31T15:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/?p=819"},"modified":"2025-10-07T20:12:45","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T20:12:45","slug":"gleam-il-nuovo-workshop-blind-a-torino","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/en\/gleam-il-nuovo-workshop-blind-a-torino\/","title":{"rendered":"GLEAM, the second workshop with blind people in Turin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After the positive experience at MART in Rovereto, on 4 February the M-Cube Foundation will conduct a second workshop of the project <strong>GLEAM &#8211; Game to Learn and Enable Accessibility through modern Mythology<\/strong> in Turin, in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/tinybullstudios.com\/\">Tiny Bull Studios<\/a>, l&#8217;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uiciechi.it\/\">Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti <\/a>e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tactilevision.it\/\">Tactile Vision<\/a>.<br><br>The workshop is a game co-design session together with a group of blind people, in order to refine the knowledge of possibilities and constrain behind the development of a product that can be accessible to those who can use sight and those who cannot, with equal enjoyment and mutual exchange.\u2028The discussion will explore <strong>the ways of accessing culture, the relationship with technological tools, the elements and features not yet available or not working properly, and the desiderata<\/strong>.<br><br>The feedback gathered during the discussion will enable the M-Cube Foundation and <a href=\"https:\/\/neu.io\/\">NEEEU GmbH<\/a> to raise awareness of <strong>different ways of interacting with content and between people during a shared experience, whether sighted or not<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em><em>The <strong>GLEAM<\/strong> project has indirectly received funding from the European Union\u2019s Horizon Europe research and innovation action programme, via the <strong>XR4ED \u2013 Open Call<\/strong> issued and executed under the <strong>XR4ED<\/strong> project (Grant Agreement no. 101093159).<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1658\" height=\"182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/XR4ED_EU_loghi.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-665\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/XR4ED_EU_loghi.png 1658w, https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/XR4ED_EU_loghi-900x99.png 900w, https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/XR4ED_EU_loghi-768x84.png 768w, https:\/\/www.fondazionemcube.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/XR4ED_EU_loghi-1536x169.png 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1658px) 100vw, 1658px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the positive experience at MART in Rovereto, on 4 February the M-Cube Foundation will conduct a second workshop of the project GLEAM &#8211; Game to Learn and Enable Accessibility through modern Mythology in Turin, in collaboration with Tiny Bull Studios, l&#8217;Unione Italiana dei Ciechi e degli Ipovedenti e Tactile Vision.
