Develop our technical and creative skills
This workshop will give you the opportunity to discover the iconic accessories of myths and superheroes and, inspired by them, design and create your own accessories using 3D printing technology.
In addition to having fun, we will explore some of the most pressing and complex issues of our time—such as war, illness, environmental challenges, and loneliness—through the lens of superhero accessories. Together, we will imagine new objects endowed with special powers, designed to support and accompany us in everyday life.
Participants will be able to tell stories, sketch ideas, create digital models, and bring them to life through 3D printing, producing their own personalized superpowered accessory while uncovering hidden talents and creative skills.
This activity, designed for teenagers, is organized in collaboration with Fadabrav.
How the workshop works
This workshop is designed for teens and lasts approximately 5 hours.
No special skills or previous experience are required—just your willingness to have fun, share ideas, and discover something new!
1:15 PM // Meeting point
Meet at Novara Castle, P.za Martiri della Libertà.
1:30 PM // Show & tell
Guided visit to the exhibition Superheroes. Le origini del Mito with curator Fabrizio Modina.
Together, we will discover the accessories and powers associated with myths and superheroes.
2:30 PM // Short walk
We will move to the Fadabrav in via Falcone 9A, where we will begin imagining and designing our own personal accessory.
3:00 PM // Design your accessory
It is time to define the characteristics and story behind your accessory, sketch it in 2D, and then create a digital 3D model.
6:00 PM // Your accessory comes to life
Using 3D printers, your accessory will take shape. You will then be able to decorate, refine, and personalize it before displaying it, together with its story, at Novara Castle alongside your favorite superheroes.
Your accessory will remain on display in a dedicated exhibition space for two weeks, after which you will be able to collect it and take it home.
