On 29 October 2024, Fabrizio Modina brings the new pop-up exhibition dedicated to the Chōgokin 50th year to Lucca and its more than 500,000 visitors. On the occasion of Lucca Comics & Games, the retrospective brings together important pieces – not only from the Modina collection – but also from those of Piero Delrivo and Marco Olivotto, bearing witness to the boundless Popy/Bandai production, which in five decades has generated a unique cultural phenomenon.
The very special guest of the exhibition is Master Shōji Kawamori, one of the most influential mecha designers on the Japanese animation scene. Kawamori is known all over the world for his productions and collaborations in the field of video games and technology.
