Fabrizio Modina @OGR Talks

On Monday, April 20 at 6:30 PM, we present:
Modern Mythology: Superpowers to Rediscover Culture
at OGR Torino (Italy).

We will explore the evolution of the popular imagination – from animation to comics, from video games to television, and on to literature – and we will show how, over the past decades, a shared symbolic system has been built, one capable of spanning different generations and activating deep forms of identification and empathy.

Modern Mythology is a tool for reinterpreting complex themes – anthropological, narrative, and value-based – and for reconnecting with culture, even the aspects that feel most distant from us in time and space. And of course, it also helps us understand why we continue to create and love icons in our own era, whether in music, cinema, fashion, or sports.

This event is part of the program accompanying the Italian preview of the exhibition
SUPERHEROES. The Origins of the Myth, scheduled from May 8 to September 27, 2026 at Castello di Novara, of which Fabrizio Modina is co-curator.

Looking forward to seeing you!
