On 6 November, the collaboration between the M-Cube Foundation and the International School of Comics of Turin will begin. At the centre are all the students of the 2e classes and their creative ability.
Like all contemporary art forms and languages – which are difficult for users of the same era to identify and understand – Modern Mythology today remains a rarely codified space from a cultural point of view, lacking structured research and an evolved critical apparatus.
The challenge with the students, from November to June, will be to realise a 2D video animation with the aim of narrating what Modern Mythology is through a dynamic and easy-to-understand mode. The video should demonstrate the link between the narration of the ancient and the contemporary, emphasising the continuity of language.
