The collection of the M-Cube Foundation enters the first major comics exhibition organized by the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf.
With more than 1600 works over an area of 1200 square meters, the exhibition explores the vast universe animated by Superheroes and their intriguing rivals. From Batman and the Joker to manga and anime, passing through politics and propaganda, the exhibition offers a journey through eleven thematic areas with comics, original drawings, sculptures and action figures, films and media art installations.
Through its presence at the SUPERHEROES exhibition, M-Cube wants to open up an important question for visitors: what defines a hero today? How have these characters evolved over time? In our increasingly fragile world, what is their role?
