Listen, listen, listen… and learn

On 15 and 16 November, the M-Cube Foundation will participate in the workshop Disability, Technology and Change,, organized by the Cluster Matters of Activity and Jagiellonian University

The workshop will span the worlds of design, art, technology and science and explore the relationship with disability, through issues such as materiality, creativity and peer-to-peer collaboration in a world where all beings are unique and different in characteristics, no one excluded.

The purpose of the Foundation’s participation is to listen and learn as a function of the future application of good practices in the field of sport in the large M-Cube project, and in the short term in the cultural and technological activities already underway. These include the collaboration with the partners of the project EUROPE BEYOND ACCESS on co-design with artists and cultural managers with disabilities and GLEAM – Game to Learn and Enable Accessibility through modern Mythology – a project financed by the Horizon Programme – in collaboration with NEEEU (Berlino), MART (Rovereto), Oriente Occidente (Rovereto), Unione Italiana and the German Federation of the Blind and Visually Impaired. The project consists of a (video)game in which able-bodied and visually-impaired persons will play as equals, exploring cultural content, in a journey that through Modern Mythology will aim to connect past-present-future.
