Today starts M-Cube’s experience in partnership with HTW Berlin – Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin within the Culture Moves Europe Programme.
Over the next two months, our team will work together with colleagues and students from this innovative university that combines Art, Culture and Technology to develop the Modern Mythology Music Box. We will also apply our willingness to be Beta testers here, so we will be confronted with AI, XR technology, VR environments.
The collaboration will allow us to access the equipment operated by HTW Berlin (VR CAVE, Motion Capture System, XR Production Lab / Maker Space), to gain insights and inspiration, to participate in R&D activities and in seminars and workshops, as well as to apply the results already achieved at European level by HTW Berlin in recent years with projects INSPIRER, XR_Unites, AURORA, AURA and APOLLO.
The residency will also enable us to get in touch with renowned international artists who are already part of the HTW Berlin network, and will allow us to co-design and prototype an innovative virtual music environment, through audio recordings, the implementation of interactive, augmented and immersive sound experiences to allow users to create their own pieces of Modern Mythology and to discover the wonderful worlds in which this music takes shape and is told.
